The Consortium of Psychiatric Rehabilitation Educators (CPRE) will hold its annual symposium October 20-22, 2017 at Rush University, Chicago IL and will be hosted by Linda Olson from Rush, and Celeste Januszewski from the University of Illinois at Chicago. The CPRE Symposium is an annual gathering open to psychiatric rehabilitation educators who have a faculty appointment at a college or university. This year's Symposium will offer outstanding opportunities for networking, learning, and resource sharing among psychiatric rehabilitation educators from many disciplines including counseling, psychology, psychiatry, social work, occupational therapy, etc. Join colleagues for the only North American event dedicated exclusively to the advancement of psychiatric rehabilitation education.
The format this year will consist of a Friday afternoon session beginning at 4:00pm followed by a reception with an optional dinner and networking afterwards, Saturday will consist of four presentations: one in the morning and three in the afternoon, with an optional dinner and networking. Sunday morning is set aside for the CPRE planning meeting. The sessions on Friday evening and Saturday will be available for CEUs.
