Welcome to the
Consortium of Psychiatric Rehabilitation Educators
CPRE is a community of practice whose membership is comprised of educators, researchers, and other relevant individuals associated with psychiatric rehabilitation and holding a faculty appointment in a college or university. We share resources through our password-protected website. The mission of CPRE is to develop, promote, and support academic initiatives and higher education programs specific to the contemporary practice of psychiatric rehabilitation. The annual symposium brings academic educators together to meet and consult with fellow academics facing similar on-the-job challenges. We focus on issues specific to the demands of the academic environment, the development academic courses and standards, teaching in a college/university environment, and the development of department level degree granting programs specific to the practice of psychiatric rehabilitation. In addition, we convene self-directed work groups on areas of interest.
